If you're thinking about joining us for the first time or you're already a church member, you may have questions. Check out our Frequently Asked Questions for some of the answers.
Where can I park?
We informally reserve the spaces closest to our entrance for people with limited mobility. On-street parking is allowable on Brook Street and Wellesley Avenue. Additional parking is available just a short walk away in the Cameron Street municipal lot.
What’s the dress code?
We have no dress code and the level of formality of what our church members and guests wear. No matter what you have on, there’s no judgment here. We’re just glad you came!
What special events happen over the course of a year?
We are always pleased when someone expresses their desire to be baptized. We offer a baptism ceremony once a year. Typically, an announcement will go out several weeks in advance. Several times a year, we host a potluck luncheon during the second hour. Special events over the holiday season include our Operation Christmas Child packing party. We also host the Lord’s Supper once annually, a solemn event done in remembrance of the sacrifice Jesus made for us.
To stay connected with upcoming events, be sure to check out the calendar section of the site and/or follow us on Facebook.
How do I join the church?
We’re thrilled you want to make it official! Send us an email at info@metrowestchurch.com to let us know your intentions and we’ll be in touch with more information. It’s not an overly formal process but it gives you the rights and privileges to vote on issues that affect the church.
Is it required that I stay for the second hour?
No, it’s not required and we recognize that Sunday is a precious weekend day. We find though that the more you come, the more drawn you’ll be to hearing all that God has to offer on Sunday morning.
How can I make a prayer request?
We see supporting each other through prayer as an important part of what we do. Share your prayer requests with us at info@metrowestchurch.com
I want to make a financial gift. Where can I do that?
The faithful support of those who call Metrowest their home church is welcome. The offering basket in the back of the sanctuary. Visitors will never be pressured with an offering plate.
